It is treating the customer right and looking for opportunities to go above and beyond to create special experiences.</strong> </p>\n<h2>Position Details</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Sales and Goals Achievement:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving financial goals.</li>\n   <li>Lead KPI initiatives through Associate training and development.</li>\n   <li>Lead and maintain merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards and current floor-set and product messaging, in addition to maintaining all current sales promotions.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> <strong>Customer Service:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Personally demonstrate a high level of customer engagement and sets expectations for team. Understands the customer is the center of what we do.</li>\n   <li>Develop an exceptional familiarity of the Duluth brand and comprehensive product knowledge to provide solution-oriented, friendly service to customers. Leads team in doing the same.</li>\n   <li>Partner with Store Manager on developing optimum staffing levels and floor coverage to engage the customer.</li>\n   <li>Ensure customer profile information is accurately recorded.</li>\n   <li>Ensure Company standards for cleanliness for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap and hospitality area.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Human Resources/Leadership Skills:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Partner with Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, motivate and lead employees.</li>\n   <li>Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and company values when addressing employees.</li>\n   <li>Exhibit sound decision-making skills and performs with a minimum of supervision; is solution based.</li>\n   <li>Provide clear and consistent feedback to employees on a regular basis.</li>\n   <li>Assist Store Manager in ensuring all Human Resource protocols and documentation are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Store and employee files are maintained according to all standards.</li>\n   <li>Assist in goal setting process for Store leadership team</li>\n   <li>Adhere to all Company guidelines, policies and programs and sets a positive example.</li>\n   <li>Be receptive and responsive to feedback.</li>\n   <li>Identify problems and opportunities to discuss with Store Manager</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> <strong>Store Operations:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Understand inventory and expense control.</li>\n   <li>Lead team in handling of merchandise receipts and transfers quickly and accurately.</li>\n   <li>Lead team in the visual merchandising of sales floor.</li>\n   <li>Understand, execute and train all cash handling and reporting functions</li>\n   <li>Properly process all register functions and ensures they are correctly followed in store.</li>\n   <li>Ensure store is secured; responds to any alarms as directed.</li>\n   <li>Ensure safety of employees and customers. Communicate concerns to Store Manager or Human Resources</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business Administration and /or Merchandising preferred.</li>\n <li>Three years of retail experience with a minimum of one year of management experience.</li>\n <li>Retail Management experience is preferred.</li>\n <li>Specialty retail leadership experience is a plus.</li>\n <li>Must be customer-centric.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt in a growing and changing environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate and lead others.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make good decisions.</li>\n <li>Must be goal-oriented and results driven.</li>\n <li>Exemplifies high standard of integrity and trust.</li>\n <li>Excellent communicator and listener.</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate and function as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible shift including evenings and weekends.</li>\n <li>Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Environmental Factors: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.</li>\n <li>Frequent reaching and bending and twisting – below waist and above shoulders.</li>\n <li>Frequently required to use repetitive hand to finger motions and reach with hands and arms.</li>\n <li>Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
