Even if you feel like you don’t meet all the criteria, please give it a shot, and still apply.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Plant Manager, The Fitter/Welder will be responsible for but not limited to:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read and follow detailed written instructions and fabrication drawings.</li>\n<li>Perform accurate measurements and calculations using feet, inches, and fractions.</li>\n<li>Successfully pass a 1-inch thick 2-G welder qualification.</li>\n<li>Pass a tack welder qualification (visual macro break test).</li>\n<li>Operate carbon air-arc equipment for back gouging processes.</li>\n<li>Ensure safe work practices are adhered to, and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.</li>\n<li>Mentors apprentices and junior fitters by sharing knowledge and safe work practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Work Location:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chesnee Fabrication Facility</li>\n<li>1st Shift</li>\n<li>Monday to Friday</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Position Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of Fitting/Welding structural steel experience.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints.</li>\n<li>Ability to read a tape measure.</li>\n<li>Ability to operate overhead cranes.</li>\n<li>Current or past AWS certification for FCAW, MCAW.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.</li>\n<li>A team player, who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within</li>\n</ul>\n<p>         a collegial, yet demanding, work environment.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organization skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities.</li>\n<li>Communication skills – both written and oral.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.</li>\n<li>Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) Retirement Plan</li>\n<li>401(k) Matching Contributions</li>\n<li>Health Insurance</li>\n<li>Dental Insurance</li>\n<li>Vision Insurance</li>\n<li>Life Insurance</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
