Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.</p>\n<p><strong>We give you a world of potential</strong></p>\n<p>Computershare has an exciting opportunity for permanent full time &nbsp;Software Engineer in North America to join our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) Team.</p>\n<p><strong>A Role you will Love</strong></p>\n<p>As a Software Engineer, you will&nbsp;take an active role within the software development life cycle, and will help to partake in technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the CCT Application. You will&nbsp;Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the teams’ delivery and/or supported products. You will also&nbsp;identify and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business e.g. efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience</p>\n<p><strong>Other key responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing informal guidance and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team’s objectives.</li>\n <li>Partaking in program design, deployment, and ongoing Test Automation support on applications.</li>\n <li>Working within an Agile environment to develop and support internal applications.</li>\n <li>Partnering with the business product owner to design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices.</li>\n <li>Responding to and resolving problems by identifying and supporting improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders when needed.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to: share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you will bring to the role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3yrs+ -Skilled in high-level development languages, such as Java, HTML, and CSS.</li>\n <li>3yrs+ -web development experience which includes the programming/ development of web applications both UI and Java Services.</li>\n <li>Working experience of database development with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle or SQL.</li>\n <li>Experience in working with SDLC tools such as GitHub, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle and Code quality tools.</li>\n <li>Experience in any of the following UI technologies: JavaScript, JSON, CSS,&nbsp;JQuery, Ajax and HTML 5, REACT</li>\n <li>Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, shares information and ideas with others, and has good listening skills.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and can use own initiative to work with limited guidance to implement innovative solutions.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and understanding of technology object-oriented design patterns and their application.</li>\n <li>Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Rewards designed for you</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Paid parental leave,</strong> flexible working and a caring and inclusive culture</p>\n<p><strong>Health and wellbeing </strong>rewards that can be tailored to support you and your family, including paid time off, observed holidays, medical, dental and vision plans</p>\n<p><strong>Invest in your future </strong>with 401k matching, setting aside salary to purchase shares in our company and tax-advantaged flexible spending plans, including healthcare, dependent care and commuter</p>\n<p><strong>Income protection.</strong> Our package includes short and long-term disability benefits, life insurance and supplemental life insurance</p>\n<p><strong>And more</strong>.
