    "description": "<h2>Position Title</h2>Sterile Processing Technician I\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><b>Purpose & Scope:</b></p>\n<p>Responsible for cleaning and decontaminating medical equipment and instrumentation; preparing sterile procedure trays and equipment; operating steam, low temperature sterilizers, and any other type of sterilization equipment used within CSP; maintaining sterile / clean storage/ and all other department areas; answering phone and service door; delivering requested items; completing all required documentation on activities; maintaining the standards of the organizations mission, goals, and safety behaviors; and assisting in other areas as requested. Participate in the training and in- service programs for staff, and students. Assumes responsibility and accountability at all times for quality performance and represent the CSP department in a positive and professional manner at all times.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Education:</b></p>\n<p>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.</p>\n<p>Completion of course from an accredited central service technician training is preferred.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b></p>\n<p>One year of sterile processing experience is preferred.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></p>\n<p>None.</p>",
