Position also responsible for maintenance requirements of plant facilities as necessary.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></u></p><ul><li>Maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment</li><li>Exercise sound mechanical judgment</li><li>Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on schedule</li><li>Assist with the equipment installation, testing, and start-up</li><li>Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction</li><li>Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner</li><li>Purchase maintenance supplies and equipment parts as needed or directed</li><li>Provide support to production associates regarding use and care of machinery</li><li>Comply with all safety standards and regulations</li><li>Responsible for 5S housekeeping system within maintenance work area and in the work areas where machinery and equipment repair is being performed</li></ul><p><u><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></u></p><ul><li>Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment</li><li>Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Able to work standing, walking, lifting, bending to access machinery repairs.</li><li>Safety glasses required in Production Area and during repair processes. Other PPE available as determined by function requirements.</li><li>Must be flexible for overtime requirements and assisting on other shifts, if necessary.</li><li>Exposed to a number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
