The Research Assistant (RA) will support the implementation of the Equity-Focused Participation Assessment Toolkit (EPAT), a project funded by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Emerging Innovators Grant. The position provides hands-on experience in educational research, data collection, and equity-focused curriculum development in medical education. The Student Research Assistant Reports to the Principal Investigator of the NBME Grant.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Assist with data collection through surveys, focus groups, and feedback forms involving medical students and faculty.</li><li>&nbsp;Support literature review and synthesis of research on equitable assessment and implicit bias.</li><li>&nbsp;Coordinate and assist with faculty development workshops, including preparation of materials, attendance tracking, and feedback compilation.</li><li>&nbsp;Help manage project-related files, meeting notes, and communications in Microsoft Teams and Qualtrics.</li><li>&nbsp;Assist with qualitative data coding and analysis using software tools such as NVivo.</li><li>&nbsp;Participate in biweekly project meetings and contribute to toolkit refinement discussions.</li><li>&nbsp;Prepare visual and written content for reports, presentations, and dissemination efforts.</li></ul><p>The Research Assistant will receive direct mentorship from the principal investigator and collaborating faculty.
