About the Role: The Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for clients seeking veterinary care for their pets. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting. Proficiency with computer systems and practice management software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with veterinary terminology and common medical procedures. Experience with billing and insurance processing in a veterinary context. Bilingual abilities (not required), especially in Spanish, to support diverse client populations. Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and empathetic client interaction. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule veterinary appointments using practice management software. Maintain and update client and patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and assist with insurance claims as needed. Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff to ensure timely follow-up and delivery of care instructions.
