Visit vantagegroup.com to learn more.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\n<p>The Manager, Corporate Development and Strategy will be responsible for the assessment and implementation of strategies and initiatives which create value and enhance the business performance of the organization. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This will be done in part by developing in-depth industry insight, using data analytics to support decisions and working cross-functionally across the organization. In addition, the Manager, Corporate Development & Strategy will assist and collaborate with the Director, Corporate Finance & Strategy in strategic planning, Corporate Development, including M&A and Vantage Futures (Vantage’s Corporate Venture Capital initiative), and Business Development activities for the organization.</p>\n<h2>­</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and implement business performance improvements and growth initiatives.</li>\n <li>Builds business cases and financial models to support the investments for both core business development activities as well as corporate development activities such as acquisitions, and Vantage Futures including cost-benefit analysis, internal rate of return profile and investment committee materials.</li>\n <li>Provides quantitative and qualitative analysis and risk assessments on potential acquisitions and business development projects.</li>\n <li>Conducts analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow projections, business forecasts and reports on key performance indicators.</li>\n <li>Participates and leads due diligence for prospective investment targets including financial, commercial diligence and requests as needed and acts as point of contact for assigned internal and external stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Supports the Director, Corporate Finance & Strategy on the corporate strategy process and works with Senior Executive team to build out functional strategies and plans to drive alignment through organization.</li>\n <li>Proactively analyzes financial information and prepares and delivers presentations and reports that enhance financial performance.</li>\n <li>Provides analysis of financial implications of business activities and brings forward recommendations to enhance financial performance.</li>\n <li>Conducts research, competitive analysis, benchmarking, and assists in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reporting to drive informed decision-making.</li>\n <li>Analyze financial and operational information relating to potential investments and portfolio companies, e.g. company metrics, financial results, growth rates, market share.</li>\n <li>Other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position may be assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>­</h2>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate finance, corporate development, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and/or corporate venture capital/venture capital.</li>\n <li>Public speaking and presentation skills for a variety of audiences, including executive and board-level.</li>\n <li>Ability to convey complex financial analysis and data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated end-to-end experience in business case development on investments and acquisitions, including due diligence, financial modelling and developing investment committee materials.</li>\n <li>Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail while at the same time understanding the broader strategic imperative.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a matrix organization and cross-functionally with impacted stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and solutions-driven self-starter who takes pride in delivering high-quality, well-communicated results with tight timelines.</li>\n <li>Proven expertise in building and managing complex financial models and performing valuation analyses.</li>\n <li>Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder is considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Primary Work Location: Remote/Hybrid </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What we offer</strong></p>\n<p>In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits package, career progression, and access to a global team of talented professionals, we are growing and offer boundless opportunities to make your mark.
