    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p><p>The Production Technical Trainer is responsible for training and developing new and existing employees on manufacturing processes, ensuring competency, safety, and efficiency in American Battery Solutions (ABS) production operations.</p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Train and certify all personnel on safe operation of equipment, including forklifts and other production machinery.</li><li>Partner with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure production operators receive &nbsp;continuous, proper training to reach competency levels within time requirements.</li><li>Provide hands-on instruction for all manufacturing processes.</li><li>Create, develop, and implement structured training plans for new hires and cross-training initiatives.</li><li>Assist with creation of training tools/manuals/job aids for operators to enhance performance.</li><li>Communicate production technical training needs for new training requests and development.</li><li>Maintain/improve knowledge on ABS products and machines.</li><li>Develop assessments and evaluations to assess training needs and skill gaps.</li><li>Provide input on process improvement initiatives (Kaizen, new equipment/technologies).</li><li>Work with supervisors to coordinate training needs and schedules with production operators.</li><li>Maintain written communication and documentation of training.</li><li>Create and maintain professional relationships with production operators through expert technical guidance.</li><li>Refresher training for all production operators as needed.</li><li>Adhere to federal and state regulations.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.</li><li>Predictable and reliable attendance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Position Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical training role.</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years ABS manufacturing experience.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with safety compliance, quality control, and process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to cover shifts as needed based on business demands.</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Key Competencies</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li><strong>Focuses on Quality:</strong> Drives work results with a quality focus on actions and results.</li><li><strong>Decision Making &amp; Analysis:</strong> Makes sound decisions based upon a mixture of data-driven analysis, expertise, experience, and judgment; collects relevant information, seeking input from others, and identifies connections and/or root causes of problems</li><li><strong>Continual Improvement:</strong> Displays a consistent orientation toward producing the highest quality products or services, while keeping a focus on sustainability.
