Based on a construction project site, they assist through the all life-cycles of a project by supporting and learning from field leaders. They help encourage and drive our safety culture. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB TITLE:</span><span> Field Engineer</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>REPORTS TO:</span><span> Field Resource Leader</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>PURPOSE:</span><span> The purpose of this job project is to learn the fundamentals of building and assist the project team to ensure quality work is performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB DUTIES:</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work with superintendent and foreman to learn building fundamentals and codes</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Aid superintendent and project manager with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement log, RFIs, and certifications of occupancies</span></li>\n<li><span>Provides input in Pre and 1st Installation Verification meetings with trade partners</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete procurement log and submittals in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure equipment and material arrive at the jobsite per schedule </span></li>\n<li><span>Promote, enforce, and train trade partners on Graham’s safety policies</span></li>\n<li><span>Conducts safety walks and reports</span></li>\n<li><span>Works closely with Superintendent and Project Manager to learn labor and material reports and able to accurately analyze the available money and manpower for specific work activities </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook</span></li>\n<li><span>Follow Graham Core Process, including jobsite checklists</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain great relationships with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives</span></li>\n<li><span>All other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities):</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bachelor’s degree in construction management/related degree (preferred), associate’s degree in construction management or equivalent field experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Great verbal and written communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Extremely detail-oriented</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong leadership skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid driver’s license</span></li>\n<li>Ability to pass post-offer employment testing</li>\n<li>Ability to pass a post-offer drug test</li>\n<li><span>Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work within one of Graham Construction’s operational areas as assigned</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Note - This is a field-based position and will not be an in-office role. The first project, after onboarding will be located in North Central/Northwestern Iowa (ex. Humbolt, Pocahontas, Storm Lake, Spirit Lake, Iowa).
