          "text": "<p>NineStar Connect is seeking a <strong>DC Power Technician</strong> to support the installation, maintenance, and reliability of DC power systems that are critical to our communications and utility infrastructure.</p><p>In this role, you will ensure that essential systems remain operational, efficient, and ready to serve our members. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that supports vital services in the community.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Install, test, and maintain DC power systems (rectifiers, batteries, distribution panels)</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on battery plants, UPS systems, and related equipment</li><li>Conduct load testing, inspections, and system audits</li><li>Diagnose and resolve issues with DC power systems</li><li>Respond to outages and alarms to restore services quickly and safely</li><li>Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation</li><li>Monitor system performance and identify potential risks</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records</li><li>Support facility systems including HVAC, alarms, lighting, and fire suppression</li><li>Utilize portable and towable generators during emergency situations</li><li>Perform routine building maintenance across all locations</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation for offices, central offices, and DLC cabinets</li><li>Collaborate with other departments as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Outdoor work in varying weather conditions</li><li>Physical work including lifting and equipment handling</li><li>On-call responsibilities and shift work required</li><li>Position requires onsite presence (not eligible for remote work)</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Specialized training in electronics, DC power, or HVAC preferred</li><li>1–2 years of experience in Central Office or plant operations</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Knowledge &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of electrical principles (AC/DC, voltage, current, resistance, Ohm’s Law)</li><li>Experience with telecommunications or Central Office equipment preferred</li><li>Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience using mechanical and electrical tools</li></ul><p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record</li><li>Ability to work varying shifts, including on-call, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>",
