Job Knowledge, Ability to attain certifications as required, Fit for Duty,</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.</li>\n<li>Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.</li>\n<li>Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.</li>\n<li>Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.</li>\n<li>Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies.</li>\n<li>Coordinate machine actions with other activities, position or move loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members</li>\n<li>Safely move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using articulated dump trucks.</li>\n<li>Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.</li>\n<li>This position is also responsible for tasks involving physical labor at construction sites and assisting other workers</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Employees may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones with appropriate training provided.<br>Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials with appropriate training provided.<br>*</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards</li>\n<li>They may also clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble other waste materials</li>\n<li>Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools while distributing them to the appropriate locations</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 /hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sequoia Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
