Future weekend rotation required.</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">We are seeking a<strong> Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</strong> to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">Provide care to pediatric clinical and research neurosurgery patients at the American Family Children’s Hospital.</span></li>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">Work in collaboration with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.</span></li>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">Perform inpatient rounding and discharge planning for pediatric neurosurgery patients. Occasional assistance with outpatient telephone follow up, patient support and prior authorization duties may be required.</span></li>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">UW Health’s Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council ensures that your voices are heard. This unique advisory council serves to promote, support, advocate and advise on APP practice and provide expertise and counsel on APP roles across the organization.</span></li>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">UW Health is committed to recognizing our advanced practice providers for their outstanding commitment and service to our patients and their profession. These leaders advocate for advanced practice providers amongst UW Health administrators.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Minimum –</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong>If Nurse Practitioner:</strong> Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong>If Physician Assistant:</strong> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong><u>Licenses and Certifications:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure</span></p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\"><strong>If Nurse Practitioner*:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND</span></li>\n <li><span class=\"cf0\">Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
