Cashiers must be able to count cash and coin, provide change quickly and accurately, bag groceries, and assist Customers. Cashiers must possess an interest in health with an emphasis on natural and organic foods, an ability to work well under pressure, outstanding customer service, and a basic understanding of computers. A Cashier may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food supplements, and health and beauty aids.<br><br>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<br>Provide knowledgeable, outstanding customer service to all Guests.<br>Operate a cash register in a fast paced environment.<br>Have a strong interest in health food, an outgoing, engaging personality, and a working knowledge of computers.<br>Follows and enforces &ldquo;Lassen&#39;s Special Order Policy &amp; Procedures&rdquo;.<br>Accepts payment and makes change.<br>Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.<br>Assist in other departments as needed.<br>Be consistently available during regular business hours. &nbsp;<br>All other duties assigned by management.<br><br><br>Physical Demands<br>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
