    "description": "<p>CMMC Machine, LLC is seeking full time experienced Industrial CNC Machinists to join our team. If you have a passion for precision machining and are looking for a challenging and rewarding position, this may be the shop for you! CNC Machinists will set up and operate manually controlled machines with skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment. Multiple positions are open on day and night shift.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Applicant must be a US citizen. Access to DoD facilities is required. Company is not able to sponsor work visa for this position.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Responsibilities &amp; Essential Functions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathes, manual milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Fabricate and shape parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal</li>\n<li>Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines</li>\n<li>Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling</li>\n<li>Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints of work to be performed and follows instructions</li>\n<li>Must be able to determine the proper tools required to perform given tasks</li>\n<li>Operates and utilizes lifting aids as necessary to perform work</li>\n<li>Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements</li>\n<li>Perform daily, regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment</li>\n<li>Ability to track parts and jobs in Travelers</li>\n<li>Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner while maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li>\n<li>Work overtime as needed on evenings and/or weekends</li>\n<li>Communicates with others to coordinate work in plant</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Machining Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with the use of: Heavy Industrial Lathes, Grinders, Boring Mills, Planers, and Portable tools</li>\n<li>Turn, Drill, Tap, Bore, Hone, Polish and Threading machine processes</li>\n<li>Large part machining experience preferred (ship propeller shafting, ship steering gear, etc.)</li>\n<li>Forklift and Crane experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shifts: Positions on both Day and Night Shifts are Available</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance</li>\n<li>Company provided Medical Clinic/Pharmacy access</li>\n<li>401K with company match</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Short Term Disability and basic Life Insurance provided by company</li>\n<li>Supplementary Insurance: Accident, Critical Illness, Voluntary Life/AD&amp;D, and Long Term Disability available</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Programs</li>\n<li>Opportunity for yearly bonus, profit sharing, overtime, and night shift differential</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n<li>5 to 10 years of related experience is preferred.</li>\n<li>Language skills - effectively communicate and understand job instructions verbally and written in English.</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Okuma, DMG/Mori, and/or Heidenain CNC controls</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of G-Code and M-Code relative to CNC movement</li>\n<li>Have experience with maintaining 0.001\" tolerances</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of G, D, and T</li>\n<li>Have experience in job setup on vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers</li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to learn</li>\n<li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables</li>\n<li>A strong, proven interest in engineering and mechanical systems</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and precision measuring tools</li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic mathematical computations</li>\n<li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part as a team</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane</li>\n<li>Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. at a time when required</li>\n<li>While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach overhead with hands and arms, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and use stairs</li>\n<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus</li>\n<li>The employee will also be expected to spend time using a computer</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
