Description
Job Responsibilities:
Planning and controlling deliveries of goods in and out of PBL warehouse.
Coordinate and establish GEMBA and/or Toolbox meetings along with procedures and schedules to maintain.
Plan, and coordinates rotation and processes associated with effective Employee Time Usage
Coordinate and establish customer and employee feedback process and actions deemed Priority for daily, weekly, and monthly targets. (Includes maintaining a customer complaint list and actions taken)
Plan, Coordinate and implement all stripping and stuffing processes and procedures with Clerks, Foremen, Operations and Shipping Agents (Tally Sheets, BL’s, Work Queues)
Develop, Implement and Coordinate warehouse inventory system and maintain stacking plan for efficient storage.
Develop, Plan, Implement, Maintain and Monitor Strategic Plan for Warehouse inclusive of goals, objectives, KPIs (revaluation if required), process manual, safety Management system (Benchmark)
Verify and direct employees to follow up any discrepancies found on tally sheets and be informed immediately.
Produce reports and statistics: daily, weekly, and monthly to management such as:
Deliveries report
Stripping report
Cargo Tonnage report
Forklift Consumption log report
Tonnage per worker report
Monthly Attendance report
Personnel Summary report
Terminal Delivery report
Container Stripping report
Safety Incidents
Claims Report
Review reports, signs off and file for future reference.
Plan, Coordinate, Implement and Execute auction event with CEO, COO, Chief Accountant every six months. (This includes providing auction lists and coordinating HR for resources.)
Reduction, Notification and Addressing of cargo related accidents and incidents.
Investigate employees’ infractions and make recommendations to HR and CEO.
Any other duties of a related nature that may be assigned from
Job Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Port Management or other related field (master’s degree would be an asset)
5-8 years exemplary Leadership experience of diverse teams.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in supervision or managing logistics operations or other similar fields.
