Reporting directly to the Assembly Area Supervisor, the Assembly Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional department leaders to meet critical project deadlines and drive operational success.<br> <p><strong>Accountabilities: </strong></p><ul><li><p>Communicate and collaborate with other leads and managers to achieve quality, safety, and delivery goals. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure all team members comply with all safety protocols. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Review timesheets and team time management. Clocking into jobs and in and out of new jobs, assisting with providing direction on the app as needed </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage the workload of the team to align with the production deadlines. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Act as first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies and procedures, attendance expectations, and other general questions from crew.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure the following tasks are completed according to standards in a timely manner: </p><ul><li>Perform all operations required in enclosure department </li><li>Train assemblers and delegate within the department </li></ul></li><li><p>Oversee that quality checklists are completed, and all steps are followed.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Mentor, coach and train team members to work through tier levels within Assembly discipline.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Recognize and reward team and individual successes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Elevate the need for conflict resolution and mitigation of grievances and complaints to supervisor.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide team members with an initial 90-day overview of how they are preforming on assigned tasks, outlining needed improvements and recognizing mastery of tasks thus far. Provide input on annual reviews thereafter. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ongoing performance feedback coaching through meeting with employees 1x1 </p></li><li>Read and interpret engineering drawings and express any variances. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Required Knowledge/Experience: </strong></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent is desired OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required)  </p></li><li><p>At least 3 years of experience related to Assembly, in one or more of the following, welding, overhead crane or fabrication. </p></li><li><p>At least 1 year as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of welding and/or fabrication. </p></li><li><p>Lead teams with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving basic to complex issues.  </p></li><li><p>Collaborate with coworkers and peers to encourage teamwork and accountability. </p></li><li><p>Exhibit consistent time management skills and adapt to quickly changing priorities.  </p></li><li><p>Experience accurately reading and interpreting blueprints and identifying irregularities. </p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality and ability to identify imperfections.  </p></li><li><p>Demonstrate clear communication with other internal teams/supervisors/management. </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace. </p></li><li><p>Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work. </p></li><li><p>Ability to demonstrate basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure. </p></li><li><p>Experience and understanding of overhead cranes and forklifts and scissor lifts. </p></li></ul><p><br><strong>Core Values: </strong></p><p><strong>Have Humanity: </strong>We lead with respect, empathy, and accountability.  </p><p><strong>Be Transparent:</strong> We communicate clearly, honestly, and proactively.
