You are a natural problem solver, a fast learner, and passionate about staying ahead of the curve in cybersecurity.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the role</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Evaluating Security Threats and Vulnerabilities</span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Evaluate and analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors to identify risks to applications and systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work with users, partners, colleagues, and experts to understand security challenges, technology trends, competition, and industry developments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Articulate security risk hypotheses and construct compelling cases for mitigation strategies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Conducting Technological and Security Research</span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Analyze, research, and deep-dive into security technologies, tools, and products, both existing and emerging, to understand their potential impact.</span></li>\n<li><span>Identify innovative ways to utilize these technologies to strengthen security measures and protect against user threats.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Developing Security Tools and Prototypes</span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Rapidly build prototypes, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and tools to test security hypotheses, demonstrate feasibility, and evaluate solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate on creating internal tools for detecting vulnerabilities and improving application security posture.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span>Collaborating with R&amp;D</span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Partner with product owners, engineers, and function leaders to integrate security measures and ensure alignment with company goals.</span></li>\n<li><span>Lead multi-disciplinary teams and joint task forces to address critical security challenges and implement innovative solutions.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Communicating Security Insights</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Clearly articulate security visions, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership.</span></li>\n<li><span>Evangelize security initiatives and share findings through internal documentation, external blogs, webinars, and industry conferences.</span><span></span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Must have qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Hands-on ability to develop POCs based on research findings using different programming frameworks.</span></li>\n<li><span>A proven track record as a seasoned software engineer or security researcher with rich experience in modern software development and security practices.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong proficiency in creating professional content for diverse audiences and presenting it effectively through various mediums.</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, less structured environment with minimal supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great proficiency in English.</span></li>\n<li><span>A curious and fast learner who loves to experiment and prototype.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Preferred background:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience with cloud computing, application security, or developer tooling.</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with a wide variety of security technologies and a passion for learning new ones.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven presentation skills and client-facing experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts concisely.</span></li>\n<li><span>A technologist and hacker mindset—you love to explore how things work under the hood.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience working in a startup environment and wearing multiple hats.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span>Kodem Security is an equal-opportunity employer.
