Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:<br id=\"isPasted\"><br>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>1. Monitors all Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties for suspicious or disruptive activities and take action as necessary.<br>2. Reports all suspicious and disruptive activities immediately to the Officer in Charge for review and further action.<br>3. Responsible for managing disturbances and situations on the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino property to minimize disruptions and ensure appropriate courses of action are taken in a professional manner.<br>4. Provides exceptional guest services to assist in guest relations and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests, associates and Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties.<br>5. Assists in the monitoring of internal operations to ensure operational and procedural policy adherence.<br>6. Is responsible for monitoring of slot department associates while associates are servicing slot machines, replenishing TITO, hand pays or jackpot payouts.<br>7. Assists table game associates with game fills and assistance with guests.<br>8. Monitors vault hard count associate activities during drop duties.<br>9. Responsible for performing cash transfer activities to and from off-site destinations.<br>10. Is responsible for cooperating with law enforcement agencies and provides depositions or courtroom testimony when necessary.<br>11. Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic First Aid, CPR, and AED if necessary.<br>12. Must be able to receive CPR certification<br>13. Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br><br>POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:<br>Internal: Frequent contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization.<br>External: Continual contact with guests and visitors. Occasional contact with law enforcement agencies and suppliers.<br><br>SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives direction and supervision on a daily basis from the Officer in Charge or Security Manager.<br><br>EDUCATION: A High School education or equivalent is required.<br><br>EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a security or customer service environment is required. Prior experience in a casino environment of in Native American Gaming is preferred.<br><br>SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service skills. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary.<br><br><br>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:<br>1. Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor and at all Lake of the Torches Resort Casino properties with exposure to differentials in temperature.<br>2. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.<br>3. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time.<br>4. Basic First Aid Requirements: Must be able to perform CPR and administer an AED<br><br>BEHAVIORS: The vision, goals and objectives of Lake of the Torches Resort Casino requires the Security Officer to perform in both a professional and personable manner. The manner in which the employee relates to fellow employees, customers and visitors is considered parallel in importance to technical knowledge and ability.
