    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Airport Project Site Inspector &ndash; Full-time</strong></p><p><strong>WHO ARE WE?</strong></p><p>Naples Airport Authority provides a safe, efficient and financially sustainable airport that best serves the overall interests of the community, with a customer service vision to provide &ldquo;Excellence from arrival to departure.&rdquo;</p><p><strong>THE POSITION</strong><br><strong><br></strong>We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail‑oriented Airport Project Site Inspector to oversee construction activities across the airfield and airport facilities.</p><ul><li>Conduct daily inspections of airport construction projects.</li><li>Ensure contractor compliance with FAA, FDOT, and airport engineering standards.</li><li>Monitor Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP) elements.&nbsp;</li><li>Verify grades, elevations, and tolerances.</li><li>Review materials, test reports, and as-built documents.</li><li>Prepare inspection reports and document deficiencies.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors, consultants, Airport Operations, FAA, and FDOT.</li><li>Support NOTAM coordination and airfield closures.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li><li>Applicants must meet one of the following minimum qualification pathways:<ul><li><strong>Degree-Based Pathway:&nbsp;</strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in construction management, civil engineering, engineering technology, construction engineering, or a closely related field, and one (1) year of relevant construction, engineering, inspection, project coordination, or field experience.</li><li><strong>Experience-Based Pathway:&nbsp;</strong>Five (5) years of progressively responsible construction, engineering, inspection, or field experience related to civil, airfield, transportation, utility, building, or public works projects.</li><li>An equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be considered, provided the candidate demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position.</li></ul></li><li>Candidates must also possess the ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, codes, and technical documents; document field observations and inspection findings; use standard computer software and inspection-related technology; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, staff, and other project stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent benefits package including $0 premium medical and dental plans</li><li>Generous 10% company paid retirement plan</li><li>Vacation, Personal leave, Sick time, Paid holidays</li><li>Annual incentive award and career development programs</li><li>Wellness stipend $600 annually</li><li>Tuition and Education reimbursement of up to $7,000 a year</li><li>Winner of Best Places to Work in Southwest Florida</li><li><strong>Competitive Salary:&nbsp;</strong>Airport Project Site Inspector &ndash; starting salary at $86,659.00.</li></ul><p><strong>APPLY:&nbsp;</strong>on our Career Website: <a href=\"https://www.flynaples.com/naacareercenter\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.flynaples.com/naacareercenter</a></p><p><em>EOE/Drug-Free Workplace and provides for veterans&rsquo; preference for eligible positions.</em></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
