    "description": "<p><strong>Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania</strong> is a non-profit organization looking to hire a full-time dynamic Special Education Teacher to work&nbsp;with children 3 - 8 years old&nbsp;at our&nbsp;Export/Murrysville location.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS-Special Education Teacher</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Bachelor Degree (Required)</li>\r\n\t<li>PA Special Education Certification&nbsp;(Required)&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES-Special Education Teacher</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Provide a safe, accepting classroom atmosphere and use teaching techniques that promote developmentally appropriate&nbsp;practices, physical, social, emotional and psychological growth for each student.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepare, write, and implement an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) for the student.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collect, interpret and report progress of data collected on student IEP goals.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assess student development and performance using standardized and informal assessment tools.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete written comprehensive Re-evaluation Reports (RR) for each student as requested.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Work hours are Monday - Friday, <strong>8:30&nbsp;a.m. to 3:00 p.m.</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>6.5-hour days.
