If you are committed to building excellent client relationships, providing consistent superior-quality work, and taking initiative to understand your clients’ needs, we would like to meet you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>LTC offers a dynamic team setting and generous benefits (including 401K, PTO, and Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION: </span>Clothing Textile Analyst SME</p>\n<p>This position is open to US Citizens only!</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LOCATION:</span> Quantico, VA (On-Site – Marine Corps Systems Command)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">STATUS:</span> Full time – Contingent Hire     </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span> 8–10+ years of relevant experience textile analysis, clothing design, materials testing, or certification support</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must haves:</span> Knowledge of military clothing systems, personal protective equipment (PPE), or tactical gear; experience analyzing products against military standards, specifications, and performance requirements; familiarity with textile performance testing methods (e.g., durability, comfort, environmental resistance).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Citizenship and Clearance: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">US Citizen with ability to obtain Active Secret Clearance</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel:</span> Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills:</span> Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong documentation and technical reporting skills, strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or with a team</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client Familiarity:</span> Experience supporting U.S. Marine Corps or DoD clothing and equipment programs; familiarity with MIL-STD, ASTM, ISO, or similar standards related to textiles and materials; experience with sustainable or advanced textile technologies; prior experience supporting test events or certification programs</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tools Familiarity:</span> DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PRIMARY DUTIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support clothing certification analysis and design activities in accordance with program documentation, requirements, and design objectives</li>\n<li>Support the design of functional, durable, and innovative clothing components and gear that meet defined performance and operational requirements</li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineers, material scientists, and technical resources to identify and evaluate appropriate textiles, materials, and technologies</li>\n<li>Analyze and validate clothing and gear against applicable military standards, regulations, and specifications</li>\n<li>Support and oversee performance testing efforts, including durability, comfort, environmental resistance, and operational suitability testing</li>\n<li>Document safety, certification, and compliance results in accordance with program requirements</li>\n<li>Monitor and assess advancements in textile technologies, including sustainable and cost-effective materials that meet mission performance requirements</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to enhance clothing functionality, efficiency, and lifecycle performance</li>\n<li>Prepare detailed technical reports, briefings, presentations, and recommendations for program stakeholders and leadership</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed records of testing activities, certification results, design revisions, and approval documentation</li>\n<li>Support oversight of test events and certification activities as required by the program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>LTC Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
