    "description_html": "<p>New England Truck Center is seeking a highly motivated <b>Transportation</b> <b>Dispatcher.</b> This role is responsible for scheduling and dispatching of trucks and drivers on calls for various transportation needs. The Transportation Dispatcher will interact and work with accounts receivable, other dispatchers, outside contractors and drivers to gather information for billing and dispatching purposes.</p><p><strong>This position is 100% on-site in Exeter, NH and full time, Monday - Friday, with weekend and on-call availability. Compensation is based on experience and with a range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year.</strong></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Answer all incoming phone calls, direct phone calls to appropriate department.</li><li>Coordinate and dispatch multiple drivers and trucks based on real time call while taking into account many variables.</li><li>Gather pertinent information related to dispatch; quickly and accurately relay that information to drivers and supervisors.</li><li>Document and input details and billing information into TowBook.</li><li>Provide accurate and detailed information to drivers as needed.</li><li>Assist Transportation Supervisors with scheduling of drivers.</li><li>Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure customer requests are fulfilled.</li><li>Swiftly, calmly, and professionally rectify customer issues that may arise.</li><li>Ensure all drivers are completing proper paperwork related to dispatch calls in a timely manner.</li><li>Review completed paperwork of all drivers and resolve any issues/discrepancies of paperwork as needed.</li><li>Troubleshooting any potential logistical issues that may arise.</li><li>Understanding of FMCSA regulations for weight, height, and length.</li><li>Assist in oversized/overweight permitting as needed.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as needed/assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Skills and Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Work with a high sense of urgency.</li><li>Ability to react and act with changing customer needs.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Heavy use of computers, technology, and office processes such as Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Knowledge of GPS and dispatch software such as TowBook, and Samsara.</li><li>Good keyboard skills.</li><li>Ability to operate a phone for long periods of time.</li><li>Equipment and construction knowledge is a plus.</li></ul><p><b>Education & Experience:</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma, or equivalent.</li><li>Prior Logistics experience preferred.</li></ul><strong>Benefits Include:</strong><ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.</li><li>AFLAC Plans.</li><li>Life and Disability Insurance plans.</li><li>Paid vacation time and holidays.</li><li>401K with company match</li></ul><p><i><b>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.</b></i></p>",
