The Truck Build Technician will also be responsible for maintaining clear build and repair records, ensuring a clean work area, and effectively communicating with team members.</p><p><i><b>We are hiring for our Exeter, NH location, our compensation levels are based hourly $25-$40/HR based on experience level, with earnings potential up to $100,000 per year. The best candidate will have the knowledge of heavy-duty diesel trucks, how they are built, how they perform, along with diesel mechanics, welding, 12V electrical accessories and lighting, hydraulics, and some body work knowledge.</b></i></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Fabricate and weld as required per pre-planned design, customized design layout, and repairs.</li><li>Build custom structures by cutting, bending, and assembling pieces together.</li><li>Thoroughly read and understand instructions, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.</li><li>Work as a team to assemble all components and elements of a truck, including but not limited to installation of chassis, legal lighting, bumpers, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems</li><li>Conduct diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles and replace components as necessary, including the engine, transmission, steering mechanism, and braking system.</li><li>Develop comprehensive work plans after fully diagnosing vehicle issues.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.</li><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and customers.</li><li>Manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail when documenting information.</li><li>Perform any other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Skills and Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.</li><li>Good interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.</li><li>A valid driver’s license, depending on vehicle driven such as CDL-A or CDL-B, without automatic transmission restrictions.</li></ul><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Certification and training in welding, and diesel engine repair a plus.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of vehicles, their electrical systems, and the mechanisms of gas and diesel engines.</li><li>Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software.</li></ul><p><b>Benefits Include:</b></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.</li><li>Life and Disability plans.</li><li>AFLAC plans.</li><li>401K with company match</li><li>Paid time off and holidays.</li></ul><p><i><b>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibit discrimination or harassment of any kind.
