    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><br></p><h1 id=\"isPasted\">Job Summary:</h1><p>Burial Technicians are responsible for carefully and efficiently burying service drop cables for our residential and commercial customers as well as teaming with i3 Broadband construction and maintenance crews on other miscellaneous projects on the underground fiber optics network.</p><h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2>Duties/Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Bury fiber optic cable lines 6&quot; to 24&quot; deep using hand trenching or drop plows with boring capabilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Read and understand existing underground facility location information.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and locate unmarked utilities.</li><li>Actively identify and eliminate risk of injury or damage.</li><li>Restore job site, including landscaping to the original condition.</li><li>Review all requested and existing services with the customer before installation of new lines.</li><li>Communicate in a thorough and professional manner with homeowners, customers, and other contractors regarding cable burials, restoration, and light landscaping.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with drop burial crew leader to establish and maintain efficient daily and weekly production of cable burials.</li></ul><h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2>Required Skills/Abilities:&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Ability to work well with others as part of a team.</li><li>Must be computer proficient.</li><li>Positive, can-do attitude.&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality results.&nbsp;</li><li>Possess good time management skills.</li><li>Must enjoy working outside.&nbsp;</li><li>Willing to train, accept feedback, and learn the job according to i3 standards.</li><li>Must be available to work occasional overtime and some weekends (as needed).</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&#39;s license.</li></ul><h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2>Education/Experience:</h2><ul><li>No prior experience is necessary, however any demonstrated interest or aptitude for hands-on work, physical work, or working with cable or electrical components is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Landscaping experience is also highly preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a criminal background check.</li></ul><h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Must be able to work outdoors, and in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Equal Opportunity:</h2><p>i3 Broadband is an equal opportunity workplace that respects the diversity of our customer base and our team.
