In this role, you will support the planning, design, and implementation of physical security for critical infrastructure, corporate, and government environments. This is an opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary MEP teams to deliver coordinated, constructible solutions that align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and evolving building technologies.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide advanced engineering judgment to complete complex physical security system designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents </li>\n <li>Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed engineering phases in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and project management teams</li>\n <li>Support project execution by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring performance aligns with client expectations and building operational requirements</li>\n <li>Deliver technically sound, code-compliant solutions within budget and schedule constraints, supporting long‑term system reliability and maintainability</li>\n <li>Provide guidance, technical review, and mentorship to junior engineering staff</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrates a strong knowledge of physical security engineering with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Industry product knowledge centered around top manufacturers in each of the following: Electronic Access Control, Video Surveillance, Contraband/Weapon Detection, Personal Duress Systems, Perimeter Detection, Perimeter Protection, Programmable Logic Controllers, Intercoms/Paging, Guard Tour Technology, Key Systems, and Telecommunications</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n <li>Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on integrated building design projects that blend security, technology, and MEP systems to create safer, smarter facilities</li>\n <li>Build on your technical foundation through hands‑on project experience and collaboration with seasoned MEP professionals</li>\n <li>Grow your career in a supportive environment that values mentorship, technical excellence, and continuous learning</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our MEP team is doing?
