As an Electronics Assembler you'll assemble, solder, and test high-performance, high-reliability electronic components used in mission-critical systems for aerospace, defense, and advanced industrial applications. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge SMT equipment, collaborate closely with skilled engineers, and take in pride in seeing your craftsmanship power technologies that demand both flawless performance and unwavering dependability.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Setting up, operating, and monitoring automated equipment like Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines, pick-and-place (PNP) machines, and soldering systems</li>\n<li>Review and assemble products according to assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions</li>\n<li>Assemble components manually using hand tools and bench mounted tools</li>\n<li>Perform quality checks, identify defects, and ensure adherence to product specifications</li>\n<li>Rework or repair parts or assemblies as needed</li>\n<li>Mark products or equipment with identifying information</li>\n<li>Perform automated testing and screening of production parts</li>\n<li>Collaborate with management, engineers, and design staff to ensure accurate builds</li>\n<li>Document work performed and maintain accurate production records</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Technical and mechanical aptitude</li>\n<li>Problem-solving mindset</li>\n<li>Team player with excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment</li>\n<li>Adaptability to shifting production priorities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Education and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A high school diploma or GED</li>\n<li>2 years of general work experience</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, diagrams, and other visual aids for assembly</li>\n<li>Experience using tools to assemble or repair parts/products</li>\n<li>Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity with small components</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills</li>\n<li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Education and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience with small electronic components and assemblies</li>\n<li>Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology/Technician Degree</li>\n<li>Proficiency with commonly used hand and/or power tools used in a machine shop setting</li>\n<li>Soldering experience (J-STD or IPC-610 Soldering certification)</li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Because of the nature of the position a US person is required</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Compensation is competitive and will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent placement.
