    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>The purpose of the Shop Technician position is to receive materials, store materials, pick items and move as well as transport items outside of the warehouse.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform hydrostatic test or 6-year internal inspections on fire extinguishers.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist&nbsp;with walk- in customers fire extinguisher.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Occasionally deliver fire extinguishers and cabinets to customers.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Help keep shop and extinguisher holding areas clean.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Frequently moves fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler pipes and other mechanical devised.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Identifies&nbsp;and inspects received inventory.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Verify labels.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Driving company vehicles, as assigned.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Transportation of items in and out of trucks.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Cleaning of workstation and surrounding areas in warehouse/ shop.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist with Inventory audits.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Transport items via Truck travel time and location may vary, upon request.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements&nbsp;required&nbsp;to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education, Training, Certifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma or equivalent&nbsp;required.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 year&nbsp;Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within the Shop area, preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>1&nbsp;years&nbsp;of professional computer skills, preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Inventory control experience, preferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Forklift certification, license, or experience, required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Efficient time management skills developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize initiatives and business goals.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated critical thinking skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Collaborator and ability to work with all levels of employees.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong diligence and accuracy.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Communication Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to&nbsp;effectively&nbsp;read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Systems and Software Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with analytical use of&nbsp;business intelligence systems, Sage 300 CRE, or similar,&nbsp;preferred&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with&nbsp;Salesforce&nbsp;preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record&nbsp;required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Occasional travel up to 30%.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL&nbsp;&amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT&nbsp;REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is&nbsp;frequently&nbsp;required to bend,&nbsp;ascend&nbsp;and descend step stools,&nbsp;ladders&nbsp;and stairs, kneel, lift &lt;50lbs, reach above and below shoulders, stand and walk for extended periods of time. &nbsp;Employee is&nbsp;required to see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus.
