    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with directing, supervising and implementing the duties and functions of the women's soccer program.\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise in women's soccer. Required</li>\n <li>Prior coaching experience at the high school or college level. Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABILITIES AND SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to provide instruction, training, and motivation necessary for the athletes to compete to the best of their ability. Required</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required</li>\n <li>Developed organizational skills. Required</li>\n <li>Must possess a current driver's license. Required</li>\n <li>Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to acquire. Required</li>\n <li>Ability to work within the parameters established by the Head Coach and within the responsibilities as defined in the position description. Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Be responsible for being thoroughly familiar and complying with all College, United East Conference (UEC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Assist in coaching the necessary skills, techniques and physical conditioning sufficient to enable each athlete to compete in the women's soccer program safely and to the best of his abilities.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for assisting with the on-site supervision during all practice and game situations.</li>\n <li>Exhibit a high level of expertise in soccer; seek self-improvement when possible.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for driving a College vehicle to and from sporting events, as needed.</li>\n <li>Assume Head Coach responsibilities in the short-term absence of the Head Coach.</li>\n <li>Assist with Camps and Clinics.</li>\n <li>Assist in the recruiting of prospective student athletes.</li>\n <li>Assist with Academic meetings, monitoring and study hall hours of student-athletes.</li>\n <li>Assist with community service and leadership development programs.</li>\n <li>Participate in Alumni engagement efforts.</li>\n <li>Work Game Day operations during Fall and winter seasons when not with soccer.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Standards and Special Job Features</h2>None\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>Hourly rate is $12.00.\n<h2>College Statement</h2>This is not a complete itemization of all facets of this position.
