We are looking for an experienced leader to lead commissioning, reliability and optimization of distribution automation. It’s an exciting time at McMaster-Carr as the next round of automation in our distribution centers becomes part of our day-to-day operations. Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), carton build and lid machines, and sorters are just some of the technologies that are in the scope of this role. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems, mechanical, electrical, or computer science engineering (or equivalent) 5+ years of professional experience in maintenance and engineering, including experience with AS/RS, conveyor systems, robotics and sorters.
