You’re a proactive, quick-learning, team-oriented colleague who’s equally comfortable face-to-face, on the phone, or using tech-forward solutions.&nbsp;<br><br><span style=\"color:#3498db;\"><strong>Key Responsibility: Program Management (40%)</strong></span><br>The manager is responsible for evaluating all program applications, conducting onsite assessments, matching qualified participants with appropriate funding sources, and scheduling projects with internal staff or outside contractors. All repair projects must meet funding source requirements and ensure timely reporting and compliance.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities generally include:&nbsp;</strong><br>* Evaluate application and income information to determine program eligibility.<br>* Coordinate or conduct home assessments for program suitability, feasibility and documentation of project scope.<br>* Refine and continuously improve the program participant experience from initial inquiry through completion of the program.<br>* Deliver clear, timely, and dignified communications to program participants throughout the duration of their repair project to ensure compassion and respect.<br>* Utilize and master technology tools to continuously log and track program participant, project, and funding information, statuses, and tasks, including funding spend down based on anticipated, in-progress, completed, and cancelled projects; work with finance team to reconcile utilization numbers and billing for reimbursements.<br>* Identify and assign appropriate staff or contractors to all projects, track progress, and collect and process all close-out documentation requirements.<br><br><strong><span style=\"color:#3498db;\">Key Responsibility: Direction and Resources (20%)</span></strong><br>* The home repair programs manager works closely with all programs staff and senior director of programs to strategically align service offerings with community needs and resource opportunities.&nbsp;<br><br><strong><span style=\"color:#3498db;\">Key Responsibility: Personnel Management (10%)</span></strong><br>* When program demands are high, the manager will conduct onsite construction-related duties in tandem with repair staff. Responsibilities generally include:<br>* Mobilize, train, and manage staff toward successful completion of their annual plan goals, as well as program and organizational standards.<br>* Meet regularly with staff to check in on goals, program delivery obstacles, and to provide ongoing support for professional development.<br>* Establish a culture and environment where staff are empowered to, and capable of, leading and motivating volunteers in the successful completion of repair projects.<br><br><strong><span style=\"color:#3498db;\">Key Responsibility: Leadership, Teamwork, and Inclusivity (5%)</span></strong><br>* All team members are responsible for contributing to overall organizational health through positive collaboration, leadership, personal integrity, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>* Education and Experience<br>* High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.<br>* Three years of program management, project startup, or customer service support experience.&nbsp;<br>* Two years of construction or repair-related experience with ability to complete onsite construction duties in coordination with repair staff.&nbsp;<br>* One year of previous supervisory or management experience.<br>* Must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and at least one year minimum of driving experience. A driving record check will be required prior to operating company vehicles.<br><br><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong><br>* Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, a demanding workload, and day-to-day tasks while maintaining program participant satisfaction.<br>* Strong relationship building skills with an ability to work constructively with a variety of people.<br>* Understanding and abilities in project management practices and principles.<br>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>* Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of common email/calendar applications and tracking tools, and an ability to adopt and optimize new technologies.<br>* Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.&nbsp;<br>* Ability to pass a background and reference check.<br>* Commitment to the South Puget Sound Habitat mission and core values&nbsp;<br><br><strong>DETAILS</strong><br>Reports to: Senior Director of Programs<br><strong>Supervises</strong>: Direct supervision of field-based home repair specialist(s) and contractors.<br><strong>Hours</strong>: 40 hours per week. Typical business hours with some flexibility for preferred schedules.<br><strong>Compensation:</strong> Non-exempt, hourly position.
