Description
Are you an experienced, licensed behavioral health clinician with a passion for crisis intervention, clinical leadership, and community collaboration? Join our Crisis Services team as a Lead Crisis System Clinician in District 7 and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centered crisis care across our service area.
About the Role
The Lead Crisis System Clinician is a dynamic dual-role position that combines direct clinical expertise with leadership and supervision. In this role, you will provide clinical consultation and support to our Mobile Crisis Team and Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (ACSU), while helping to shape and strengthen our crisis response system.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide guidance for complex cases, support staff growth and development, and help ensure individuals experiencing behavioral health crises receive timely, compassionate, evidence-based care.
What You'll Do:
Clinical Leadership Provide clinical consultation and oversight for Mobile Crisis and ACSU staff. Support complex case planning and crisis intervention efforts. Review crisis evaluations and documentation for clinical quality. Assist with admissions to and discharges from crisis stabilization services. Participate in direct clinical work with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises as needed. Team Development Provide individual and group clinical supervision and consultation. Mentor clinicians and interns to support professional growth. Lead integrated team meetings for individuals with complex service needs. Deliver training and education to crisis staff and community partners. Program Development Assist with crisis program development and implementation. Collaborate with leadership to strengthen crisis services across the organization. Support operations in the absence of the Program Director. Build partnerships with hospitals, schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Community Engagement Provide education on crisis intervention, suicide prevention, safety planning, and available crisis resources. Promote awareness of behavioral health services throughout the community. What We're Looking For:

Active professional licensure in the State of Maine appropriate to the position. Ability to maintain good standing with the applicable licensing board.
