The position offers the opportunity to apply engineering (civil, geotechnical and water resources) academic knowledge to real-world situations while also learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career. This position is for approximately 13-15 weeks during the fall semester of 2026. We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools;</li>\n <li>Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;</li>\n <li>Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;</li>\n <li>Follow instructions from and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel;</li>\n <li>Potential for fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling and contractor oversight; and</li>\n <li>Responsible for coordinating transportation to and from the office; and local travel or driving to project sites as needed. </li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in civil, geotechnical, or water resources engineering or related field. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with ArcView, CADD, and/or Microsoft Office. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Exposure to environmental regulations and/or contaminated site remediation via coursework or prior internship experience. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record for business travel to project sites.
