Description Associate Director / Super Yacht Practice Associate Director / Senior Broker – The Broker serves as the primary liaison between insurers and clients. This person is responsible for managing large client relationships, deploying placement expertise, actively working on production and contributing to achieving the Marine North America revenue growth targets. The individual will support the Marine North America team by managing a more complex book of yacht business. Will assist the practice in hitting its new revenue targets through development of the pipeline and participating in new business development presentations. The individual will also be responsible for client-related documentation including but not limited to policies, endorsements, quote comparisons and required compliance forms. The individual will also be responsible for managing claims within their book of business. All functions should be performed collaboratively with the greater team. Performance Objectives: Function as a resource on yacht accounts within the practice; participate in client communications/conference calls/meetings and provide technical expertise Maintain a book of business Place mainly large and more complex accounts but also some middle market Perform policy contract reviews; negotiate competitive terms and conditions Issue and ensure carrier accurate policy and other documentation Contribute to business growth objectives (e.g., participate in new business presentations, attend proactive sales meetings, place new business opportunities and help identify new opportunities) Actively assist in producing new business Assist in achieving the goals and objectives of the North American Marine Practice Manage pipeline of prospects Active involvement in the Global Industry Practice Groups Collaborate with other lines of business to cross sell products and services Maintain and develop relationships with insurance carriers’ partners Foster relationships with existing and prospective clients Learn and utilize WTW software and systems where necessary Qualifications The Requirements High school diploma required.
