Description

CONSOLIDATED YOUTH PROJECT (CYP) COORDINATOR The Consolidated Youth Project Coordinator oversees the federal grant Consolidated Youth and carries out most of the pre-set grant goals and objectives across Grand Forks County to educate youth and school personnel on healthy relationships and dating violence. The coordinator must effectively communicate with partners such as teachers, counselors, and school administrative to advance CVIC’s mission of ending violence in two generations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or a degree in a relevant discipline will also be considered. The ideal candidate is a productive, detail-oriented professional with initiative, a high degree of adaptability and effective communication and prioritization skills. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, have access to personal transportation and be willing to travel from office to local and county schools for presentations and trainings. Effective public speaking, experience/knowledge in interpersonal violence prevention and project coordination are preferred. COMPENSATION: $18.27-27.40 per hour based on education and experience.  A generous leave package including annual leave, sick leave and personal days; 11 paid holidays; health, dental, vision, and life insurance; mileage reimbursement for travel, 403 (b) with employer match; and potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness. SUPERVISED BY: Director of Prevention & Education CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt RESPONSIBILITIES Project Coordination •    Cultivate relationships and collaborate with CVIC staff and project partners. •    Coordinate project activities to ensure grant goals and objectives are achieved. •    Monitor grant budget expenditures. •    Ensure grant special conditions are met and communicated with project staff and partners. •    Manage staff and project schedules for seamless coordination of project activities. •    Facilitate and/or participate in various internal and external meetings to ensure prevention      messaging is cohesive among community members, youth, and professionals. •    Coordinate the collection and tracking of qualitative and quantitative data . •    Write and submit bi-annual reports for tracking project status. •    Maintain project files and documentation upkeep. Public Education and Training •    Provide training to Grand Forks County rural educators. •    Deliver presentations and curricula to 20+ schools on topics such as healthy relationships,      dating/sexual violence, digital boundaries, bystander behavior, human trafficking, and more •    Schedule and co-facilitate yearly school meetings in Grand Forks County. •    Conduct outreach and collaborate with local organizations year-round. •    Continuously stay up to date on best practices related to interpersonal violence. •    Conduct presentations during weeknight events as needed. Other Requirements •    Assist with school survey distribution in Grand Forks County rural schools. •    Compile presentation evaluations and enter data into internal tracking system. •    Attend CVIC and program meetings.
