    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Regional Hygienist is a highly experienced, high-performing clinician who provides in-market leadership, coaching, and operational support to hygienists across multiple clinics. <strong>This hybrid role(not remote)</strong> includes regular patient care at a clinic location, along with one dedicated administrative day (weekly or biweekly) to support offices through training, performance improvement, and clinical standardization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This administrative time is additive and does not replace clinical production days.</strong> The Regional Hygienist plays a key role in driving high-quality patient care, consistent clinical protocols, improved performance outcomes, and strong hygienist engagement—while aligning with overall operational goals.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Clinical</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver comprehensive hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing restorations, and application of preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants</li>\n <li>Accurately review and update patient dental and periodontal history, document treatment, and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA</li>\n <li>Assist the dentist as needed and administer local anesthesia (where permitted)</li>\n <li>Serve as a clinical role model for workflow efficiency, documentation, and patient communication</li>\n <li>Maintain clinical productivity and meet established production benchmarks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Administrative</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide on-site coaching and support to hygienists, including perio protocols, patient experience, documentation, and efficiency</li>\n <li>Support onboarding, training, and development of new hygienists</li>\n <li>Conduct chart audits to ensure compliance and diagnostic consistency</li>\n <li>Assist offices with staffing gaps, workflow challenges, or performance improvement opportunities</li>\n <li>Drive adoption of standardized hygiene protocols across the market</li>\n <li>Partner with operations leadership to identify trends, escalate concerns, and support market-wide initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operational & Reporting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Report directly to the Director of Operations</li>\n <li>Provide clear communication, documentation, and follow-up from office visits</li>\n <li>Foster strong, collaborative relationships across clinics and teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing</li>\n <li>3+ years of clinical hygiene experience; leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of hygiene KPIs, periodontal protocols, documentation standards, and workflow optimization</li>\n <li>Proven ability to coach and develop peers effectively</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to travel within the assigned market</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through</li>\n <li>High level of clinical integrity and commitment to patient care excellence</li>\n</ul>",
