Our team is comprised of AV Subject Matter Experts Crestron/Extron programmers, engineers, and AV maintenance technicians who work together to build, commission, and maintain critical AV solutions for our customers. As a member of our team, our AV Programmer will work at our HQ facility in Ashburn VA and will also visit various customer facilities and sites located within the National Capital Region. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize Extron/Crestron programming skills to manage, operate, and maintain a large array of AV equipment and AV suites. </li>\n <li>Perform AV programming tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.</li>\n <li>Manage customer needs and schedules along with prioritization of work across a broad enterprise of AV systems with varying levels of usage and dependencies.</li>\n <li>Perform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot, and repair systems.</li>\n <li>Assist with customer training and knowledge/use transfer within a diverse customer base in a sensitive work environment.  </li>\n <li>Work as a key member of a team to assist with troubleshooting and solutioning to ensure high-visibility systems remain available and fully functional.  </li>\n <li>Use advanced knowledge of AV, control signal flow, and test equipment to troubleshoot systems.</li>\n <li>Remain current within the industry, trends, and emerging technologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: </strong>This is a full-time position with standard operating hours, Monday-Friday.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>TRAVEL:</strong> Limited Travel to various customer facilities located within NCR.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>CLEARANCE:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Active and current Top Secret (TS)/SCI upon application, required. The selected candidate would be required to acquire a CI Polygraph to meet the customer's onsite requirements.  Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required for onsite work.</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field OR completion of an apprenticeship program and equivalent years of work-related experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATION(S): One</strong> or more of the following certifications is preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Programming and/or design certifications for Extron/Crestron (desired)</li>\n <li>Certified Broadcast Networking Engineer (CBNE) (desired)</li>\n <li>Certified Technology Specialist-Designer (CTS-D) (desired)</li>\n <li>Cisco Network Administrator (CNA), or equivalent (desired)</li>\n <li>Other AV Programming training and certifications that are relevant to this work</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of experience in the field of AV Engineering, Design, Programming, and Lifecycle Maintenance.</li>\n <li>Senior-level Extron/Crestron programming experience. </li>\n <li>Experience working as a senior member of an AV design and integration team. </li>\n <li>Strong time management skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task across a portfolio of AV projects and initiatives. </li>\n <li>Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. </li>\n <li>Experience communicating directly with customers, vendors, and service providers to foster strong relationships and a positive and collaborative environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong> </strong>Experience working with other programming languages (e.g., Extron, Biamp, VBrick).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time (onsite)</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year</p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) with company matching</li>\n <li>Dental insurance</li>\n <li>Medical insurance</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account option</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending</li>\n <li>Vision insurance</li>\n <li>Life and Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Ancillary offerings (Hospital Indemnity, Accident, Critical Illness, Pet Insurance)</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Holiday pay</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Intrepid Solutions, a CIS Secure company, is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
