Forge Christian High School - Math Teacher Application
W e are so incredibly excited for all that God has in store for Forge Christian High School with the vision of inspiring and equipping students to know their God-given purpose and spiritual shape so that they may passionately and courageously take Jesus into a world that desperately needs Him!

We are expecting growth in our student body, so we are eager to accept applications with experience in multiple high school subject areas.
Forge Curriculum Team Purpose Statement:
To advance the mission and vision of Forge through properly equipping teachers to enrich the minds of all students at Forge. The Curriculum Team sets the standard for educational development, processes, and qualifications to prepare students for the next stage in their educational careers, whether that be for the next grade, college, or entering the work force. Must create an encouraging teaching environment for all students and plan to adjust as the needs of students shifts and develops. Possess a mindset of continuous growth and strive to exceed industry standards to create a legacy of exceptional well-rounded students both academically and spiritually.
Forge Christian High School Teacher’s
Purpose Statement:
To efficiently and successfully meet educational needs of all students in a manner that promotes excellence and develops a Biblical worldview. Teachers will execute a level of implementation and growth, as needed, in the key instructional strategies which are integrated into the classroom observation tool. Teachers will act timely and professionally under the completion of various administrative and curricular tasks require by the Head of School and included in the summative review tool. Teachers shall encourage and foster the spiritual and educational wellbeing of all students.
Forge Christian High School Teacher’s
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
Live out a daily, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating grace, truth, and spiritual maturity in all areas of life and work
Discern and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit throughout the school day, seeking His direction in instruction, relationships, and decision-making
Integrate Scripture, biblical truths, and practical application into all subject areas, ensuring that the majority of instructional units include meaningful biblical illumination
Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans for assigned courses, equipping students for academic and spiritual growth
Engage in ongoing curriculum development in collaboration with school leadership and fellow educators
For each course taught, prepare and submit the following to the Head of School:
Weekly lesson plans, classroom materials, and homework assignments posted in FACTS by the designated deadline
A course description, syllabus, and a current curriculum map aligned with Curriculum Trak standards
Expected Student Outcomes updated at the conclusion of each semester.
Utilize research-based instructional strategies from resources such as Teach Like a Champion and The First Days of School to support multi-sensory learning, small group instruction, cooperative learning, and Socratic methods
Leverage technology thoughtfully as a supplemental tool to enhance instruction and student engagement
Employ both formative and summative assessments to monitor and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles
Interpret and analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and interventions
Apply appropriate intervention strategies for students in need, maintaining detailed anecdotal records and implementing targeted support methods
Submit attendance and grades punctually, in alignment with campus policy
Submit book and material orders for the following school year in collaboration with department heads
Demonstrate professionalism, resourcefulness, and excellence in the areas of time management, problem solving, communication, team building, creativity, and decision-making
Participate in the school’s continuous improvement efforts, including the accreditation process
Attend all required faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities
Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, parents, and fellow staff members to build strong, Christ-centered relationships
Other Responsibilities:
Instruct students during routine drills and live situations: Fire, Intruder, etc.
Take attendance each class period.
Measurable Goals:
Formal and drop in observations performed by administrative team or Head of School
Review of parent and/or student feedback surveys as applicable
Annual summative review conducted with Head of School
Educational needs of all students are met in a manner that promotes excellence and develops Biblical worldview
Implementation and growth strategies are integrated into the classroom
Enter a minimum of 2.5 grades per week into the gradebook, with exceptions allowed for elective courses.
Timely and professional completion of various administrative and curricular tasks required by Forge Head of School and included in the summative review
Position Requirements:
Passionate relationship with Jesus Christ
Demonstrates servant leadership
Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field from an accredited college or university required
Current ACSI certification or state teaching license required (or ability to obtain)
1–3 years of mathematics teaching experience
Demonstrates competency in all academic areas assigned to teach
Excellent relational skills with people of all ages
Aligned with and able to clearly support the school’s mission, vision, and goals
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and academic information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates a proactive, service-oriented approach with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role
Communicate and demonstrate an attitude that is Friendly, Fast, Fluid, and Flexible.
Staff Requirements:
Be present for all Staff Meetings pertinent to your role, unless sick or on vacation.
Typically held 1-2x/month on the same day/time to plan accordingly
Work "All Staff Required" events.
