The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, a commitment to safety, and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an on-site position located in Moulton, AL.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Operational Leadership & Facility Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees all day-to-day operations across the yard, warehouse, and office.</li>\n <li>Ensures materials are received, sorted, processed, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate inventory of scrap materials, including classification, grading, weighing, and documentation.</li>\n <li>Monitors and improves operational processes to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and optimize material flow.</li>\n <li>Ensures proper use, maintenance, and availability of equipment including forklifts, cranes, and heavy machinery.</li>\n <li>Tracks and understand all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety, Compliance & Risk Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Enforces all safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Conducts regular safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Leads safety training for all yard, warehouse, and office personnel.</li>\n <li>Manages risk across operations, including physical position management and facility maintenance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership & Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads, motivates, and develops staff across yard, warehouse, and office functions.</li>\n <li>Oversees scheduling, staffing, performance management, and training.</li>\n <li>Coaches team members and frontline leaders to build capability and ensure accountability.</li>\n <li>Fosters a culture aligned with company values: Safety, Integrity, Caring, and Growth.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Logistics, Dispatching & Vendor Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates with logistics teams and transportation partners for inbound and outbound shipments.</li>\n <li>Manages outside quotes, bids, and vendor relationships for materials and services.</li>\n <li>Ensures timely preparation of materials for shipment and customer orders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Customer & Supplier Relations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serves as a primary point of contact for customers visiting the yard or sourcing materials.</li>\n <li>Builds and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and community partners.</li>\n <li>Ensures a customer-focused, responsive environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Financial & Reporting Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports P&L oversight through cost control, productivity improvements, and operational efficiency.</li>\n <li>Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, shipments, safety, and staff performance.</li>\n <li>Updates and presents spreadsheets and operational metrics to leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate Will Have</strong>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required;
