Our Therapeutic Childcare program provides trauma-informed care, early intervention, and family-centered support that helps children heal, grow, and thrive.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role directly supports our mission to end homelessness and strengthen the San Diego community by ensuring high-quality, integrated behavioral health services for the families we serve.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>The Role</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Manager of Behavioral Health Services &ndash; Therapeutic Childcare is a licensed clinician and people leader who provides therapy services while supervising Associate Therapists and Clinical Interns. This role helps ensure that services are trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with best practices in early childhood and family therapy.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You will collaborate closely with Therapeutic Childcare leadership and the Village Health Center (a Federally Qualified Health Center) to provide integrated, whole-person care. This position combines clinical services, staff supervision, program collaboration, and training.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Clinical Leadership &amp; Supervision</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to Associate Therapists and Clinical Interns</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recruit, screen, and support clinical interns in partnership with universities and training programs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assign caseloads, support staff development, and conduct performance evaluations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide consultation to ensure services are trauma-informed, client-centered, and therapeutically sound</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Clinical Services &amp; Program Support</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clinical caseload that includes individual therapy and therapeutic groups</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Facilitate or co-facilitate therapy sessions and milieu-based therapeutic activities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee referrals and help ensure equitable caseload distribution among clinicians</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated care plans</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Collaboration &amp; Community Engagement</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct behavioral health trainings for Therapeutic Childcare staff, Health Center teams, and community partners</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in outreach activities to increase referrals and engagement</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support a transdisciplinary approach to care across programs and services</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in meetings, workgroups, and learning collaboratives</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Documentation, Compliance &amp; Quality Improvement</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record system</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in chart reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain clinical credentialing and privileging requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete required trainings, continuing education, and risk management activities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards for behavioral health practice</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned to support program needs</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Master&rsquo;s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active California clinical license in good standing (such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least seven (7) years of clinical experience providing therapy to children, youth, and families</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience, including training, coaching, or performance management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience using trauma-informed and evidence-based practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in multidisciplinary or integrated care environments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office or similar programs</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bilingual in English and Spanish</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in early childhood programs, school-based services, community health, or family-serving organizations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience supervising interns or associate-level clinician</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center or similar integrated care setting</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification (may be obtained after hire)</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Schedule</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:5.0pt;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with standard office hours.
