Compound sterile preparations, including those from non-sterile powders, within a Class 100 cleanroom environment.</li>\n <li>Prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents and Alere high-risk pregnancy patients, following established policies and quality standards.</li>\n <li>Support quality assurance (QA) processes, ensuring compliance with all compounding and documentation requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communication with nursing homes and Alere clients.</li>\n <li>Stage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Maintain and clean infusion pumps and other sterile compounding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety.</li>\n <li>Replenish and maintain Emergency Drug Kits (EDK) for long-term care facilities.</li>\n <li>Perform shipping and tracking of Alere packages via third-party overnight logistics providers.</li>\n <li>Support inventory management, filing, answering phones, and stocking areas within the IV department.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the Lead IV Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor to maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.</li>\n <li>Promptly report any operational or compliance concerns related to USP 797 standards.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist, IV Supervisor, or Director of Pharmacy.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>Required:   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent.  </li>\n <li>Pharmacy Technician license as required by state</li>\n <li>6 months – 1 year of IV Pharmacy Technician experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology.  </li>\n <li>Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.  </li>\n <li>Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Desired:   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Long Term Care pharmacy experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day </em> </p>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivers personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams, serving health care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals.
