This position offers a negotiable start date, though a prompt start is preferred. Your commitment will provide critical, long-term stability for this appreciative community, </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What we offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm; closed on statutory holidays.</li>\n <li> Full-day and half-day clinic shifts are available, offering flexibility to work 3 to 4.5 days per week, including options for in-person and virtual patient visits.</li>\n <li> Emergency transfers supported by BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).</li>\n <li> Join a supportive network of CME, primary care integration through qathet Division of Family Practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Your role:</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services.</li>\n <li> Assess and diagnose a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.</li>\n <li> Initiate appropriate treatments and interventions.</li>\n <li> Provide professional guidance to other health professionals and participates autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary health teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Texada Island is the largest of the Northern Gulf Islands, located between the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island, with a population of around 1,100 residents. The island offers a peaceful lifestyle with amenities including grocery stores, banking, a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, and various outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.
