(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform structural engineering analysis and design for <strong>bridge and transportation-related structures</strong>, with additional exposure to building structures including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems</li>\n <li>Primary duties will be related bridge structural design and inspection, but seeking versatile engineer with broad structural engineering interests, including building structures</li>\n <li>Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions</li>\n <li>Perform site inspections for work engineered by our office</li>\n <li>Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects</li>\n <li>Coordinate work product with other in-house engineering staff and architects</li>\n <li>Contribute to projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale infrastructure and new construction</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>4-8 years of related experience</li>\n <li><strong>PE preferred</strong> (EIT required; active progress toward licensure expected)</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of code requirements</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Experience in using various civil/analysis software</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines</li>\n <li><strong>AutoCAD experience a requirement,</strong> Revit experience a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>- Please visit our website for all of our career opportunities at https://careers-liro.icims.com</p>\n<p>- We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment. </p>\n<p>- Compensation:  Minimum:  $105,000   Maximum: $135,000 (commensurate with experience)</p>\n<p>- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>LiRo-Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
