The qualified individual will have the responsibility to manage multi-disciplined land development design projects and assist the department manager in managing client relationships, developing and pursuing new clients and project opportunities, and managing multi-disciplined project staff. Responsibilities include proposal preparation, land development planning and design, client and regulatory agency coordination, schedule and budget management, and marketing of land development services to prospective clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Dewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Marketing of land development services</li>\n <li>Proposal and presentations preparation</li>\n <li>Site planning and civil engineering design</li>\n <li>Regulatory permitting</li>\n <li>Expert testimony at public hearings</li>\n <li>Staffing coordination</li>\n <li>Project scheduling </li>\n <li>Project financial management</li>\n <li>Client relationship management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Civil Engineering required.</li>\n <li>10 -15 years of directly related experience and Professional Engineer licensure in NJ.</li>\n <li>The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage and work as part of multi-disciplined project teams, and a proven track record of maintaining an independent client following and strong client relationships.</li>\n <li>Individual must have a thorough understanding of the land development design, permitting and approval processes in NJ and a demonstrated track record of completing projects on time and within budget.</li>\n <li>Driving is a requirement of the position.
