          "text": "<p>This role is specifically within the SLS division of SOCOTEC. SLS/SOCOTEC is seeking curious, dependable, and proactive learners focused on continuous improvement to join our team. We're looking for someone with a strong background in the design or inspection&#xa0;of mechanical systems and life safety systems such as fire alarm, fire protection and smoke control for Florida buildings. Experience in commissioning and field inspections of buildings systems is a plus.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Consult on project specific requirements and basis of design documents</li><li>Review HVAC design documentation including drawings, specifications, and controls sequences</li><li>Review Smoke control approaches</li><li>Perform submittal reviews</li><li>Document and maintain well written reports on project related activities&#xa0;</li><li>Communicate effectively and establish relationships with clients and job-related management teams</li><li>Providing cross-functional support to ensure client needs and internal timelines/project activities are completed</li><li>Maintain detailed documents and progression of work from initial proposal through completion</li><li>Present project related technical information to clients and design teams</li><li>Occasional presentation of white papercase studies to in-house technical teams</li><li>Attend in-house seminars and scheduled team meetings</li><li>Maintain established utilization levels</li><li>Support junior technicians or entry level staff</li><li>Field verify life safety systems is installed as per the drawings and specifications</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager</li></ul>",
