    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Qualified Welder (Non-3G Certified) performs diversified hand welding on a wide variety of assemblies and structures using welding equipment to fabricate or non-structural repair products such as machined parts and trenching and shoring equipment. A Qualified Welder is an employee who has completed an accredited third-party welding training program (private training company, Community College, or Vocational/Technical program) and provides documentation verifying completion; the employee does not hold a valid 3G certification. This position is a safety-sensitive role that requires compliance with the company&rsquo;s drug and alcohol policy and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities &nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Performs non-structural repairs of the rental fleet in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job; plans details of working procedure and tool and material requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, fitting, and welding various metals in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Repairs equipment using appropriate welding techniques and equipment; escalates work requiring 3G (or other) certification to a certified welder or supervisor, as applicable.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Maintains required documentation verifying completion of an accredited third-party welding training program and provides it upon request.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Repairs worn or defective surfaces.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">May be assigned to dismantle or cut up obsolete equipment, setting aside parts for scrap dealers.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Completes other tasks as may be assigned by the Supervisor.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Must sign acknowledgment of reading and understanding the Company&rsquo;s safety policy and adhere to all Company safety rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Completion of an accredited third-party welding training program (private training company, Community College, or Vocational/Technical program) with documentation verifying completion (required).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Strong attention to detail, precision, and control. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Emotional Intelligence, collaboration and communication skills &nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Quick thinker and ability to prioritize safety first&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Completion of an accredited third-party welding training program (private training company, Community College, or Vocational/Technical program) and submission of documentation verifying completion.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Minimum (1) one-year welding experience (or equivalent hands-on experience gained through the accredited training program), as determined by the Supervisor.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Does not hold a valid 3G welding certification; work requiring 3G certification must be assigned to a certified welder.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to obtain forklift certification as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW167551900 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW167551900 BCX8\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"No Spacing\">Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</span></span></li></ul></div>\n",
