Additionally, CSX does not accept Medical Marijuana Cards</u><strong>.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Primary Activities and Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The activities and responsibilities are Loading, Unloading, Securement, and Inventory, including the following, but are not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Being able to ascend and descend rail cars. Drive the shuttle van to and from railcars and bays to pick up &amp; drop off associates&nbsp;</li><li>Inspection and documentation of equipment/vehicles for condition and operational readiness, and reporting of any found damages prior to unloading&nbsp;</li><li>Operation and transfer of several types of motor vehicles (both manual and automatic transmissions)&nbsp;on and off multi-level railcars with limited clearances with varying degrees of elevation using ladders up to 16 feet for equipment/vehicle inspection and securement</li><li>Raise, lower, and move portable bridge plates, decks, and ramps at elevated heights&nbsp;</li><li>Open and close end doors on multi-level railcars weighing over 1,000 lbs.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong><br>Pay as of July 1, 2025 is <span data-teams=\"true\">$29.33 (</span><span style=\"font-family: &quot;&quot;;\">Hourly).&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Sign-on Bonus Eligibility</strong></p><p>This position is eligible to receive a $3000 retention bonus as follows:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be an active employee with eight months of service to receive a $1000 payout after probationary period ends&nbsp;</li><li>Must be an active employee with 18 months of service to receive additional $2000 payout</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>18 years of age or older&nbsp;</li><li>Have a valid driver's license under the insurance company's requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>1-year experience working in a heavy industrial environment&nbsp;</li><li>1-year experience operating heavy machinery&nbsp;</li><li>3 years of outdoor work experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Competencies&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Basic math&nbsp;</li><li>Basic computer skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Classifying skills (tracking and coding information)&nbsp;</li><li>Communication skills (Provide clear instructions/directions)&nbsp;</li><li>Reasoning skills (Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills)&nbsp;</li><li>Verbal comprehension (Understanding oral and written communications-both general and technical)&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate auditory and visual acuity/tracking/inspection&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 or more pounds overhead in order to install bridge plates connecting the upper deck of railcars.&nbsp;</li><li>Stoop, bend, kneel and crouch in confined space to release and store multi-level railcar tie down devices&nbsp;</li><li>Walk the length of at least 5 railcars multiple times per hour in a typical shift&nbsp;</li><li>Climb fixed ladders to 2nd and 3rd level decks multiple times per hour in a typical shift&nbsp;</li><li>Balance to safely step across opening between rail cars on 2nd and 3rd level decks&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work positively and contribute to a team focused on customer service and accomplishing productivity targets</li><li>A collective bargaining agreement governs this position, and membership is required</li><li>An active employee who changes to a new craft may be required to permanently relinquish their seniority in the former craft unless otherwise provided for in the applicable collective bargaining agreement or other governing agreement</li><li>Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments in all weather conditions and at elevated heights</li><li>Complete annual training and pass safety rules examinations&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of FRA and AAR securement regulations and railway line clearance requirements&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass a post-offer medical examination, including drug and physical tests.&nbsp;All internal candidates’ safety records will be reviewed and considered when evaluating the candidate pool</li><li>Working in a high-paced outdoor environment around moving equipment and vehicles</li><li>Work hours may include a nonstandard workweek, overtime, and various shift work</li><li>Ability to keep a clean work environment</li><li>Wear the required uniform (coveralls), head protection, proper shoes, safety glasses, and other safety items as instructed</li></ul>",
