(Gas Detector, PFAS, Light Meter, PPE, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven ability to teach safety related classes on a jobsite or in a classroom.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven ability to foster a positive and productive safety culture while promoting cooperation and improved morale throughout the division.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Mandatory Hiring Requirements</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Responsibilities: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Works closely with Division Safety Professional, Project Managers and Superintendents to implement a safety and education training program in compliance with the Ace Safety Program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensures the Ace Safety Program is understood and adhered to, on the assigned project. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist will all necessary job site inspections including color coding, fall protection, equipment inspections and job hazard assessments (JHAs). </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Identifies and implements best safety practices. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Leads company safety and health activities by providing direction and training to division personnel.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Supports and implements new safety initiatives that may arise from a safety audit, incident or other sources.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provides technical support to all personnel to ensure compliance with Federal &amp; State safety &amp; health regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable on all OSHA regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Issues Safety Alerts for serious incidents (employee injury, property damage, near miss, etc.). </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assures all newly hired associates are given a thorough orientation concerning the Ace Safety Program. (NESO)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Conducts Frequent and Regular jobsite inspections and audits focusing on recognizable hazards, unsafe work practices, and corrective actions or procedures to be implemented to correct deficiencies. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Prepares and maintains project safety records, and reports to improve the company’s safety performance and comply with all government agencies, insurance carriers and internal procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work with Project Managers, Superintendents and Division Safety Professional to ensure all necessary safety equipment, safety manuals and documents are maintained on projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop and implement Site Specific Safety Plans for their assigned projects. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Advises all personnel on the use of necessary personal protective equipment, job safety materials and first-aid equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Purchases all safety equipment and supplies for their assigned projects in coordination with the division safety professional.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assists project personnel in the preparation of permit applications for high-risk activities. (Energized Work, First Energization of Services, Confined Space Entry, etc)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Be onsite to supervise and assist during the performance of any high risk activities)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensures all incidents (injuries, property damage, and near misses) are properly reported and investigated to include visiting the work area, interviewing employees, taking pictures and completing incident investigation form.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Administer drug and alcohol screens in cooperation with HR.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assists HR with any claims management issues. (Workers Comp, Vehicle Ins., General Liability, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Be onsite to accompany any safety inspection by OSHA, insurance carriers, customers’ safety personnel, or others.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Works closely with HR and Headquarters Safety to reduce, contest, or mitigate any potential OSHA citations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Collaborate with other company safety personnel to audit and improve the Ace Safety Program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assists with the completion of all Customer Safety Prequalification forms as directed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Position Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">License:</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">OSHA 30 within the last 4 years. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">CPR/First Aid training certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Education: </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">High School Graduate or GED.  Bachelors preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience: Minimum of 1 year field safety experience, preferred in electrical.  </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Working Conditions:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Work in restricted areas (switch gear-room, manholes, utility tunnels and crawl spaces).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Wear personal protective equipment as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required, including night shifts and out-of-town work if required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This position is a 90% field safety position with 10% office environment for administrative duties. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Required Physical/Mental Functions:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be able to train personnel in the safe operation of equipment (trenchers, lift trucks, aerial work platforms, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Train personnel on safe work practices as outlined in Safety Handbook.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Read and interpret maps, manuals, work site directions, and written instructions.
