You will report to department leadership.</p><p><strong>Primary Tasks:</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform necessary immobilization, positioning, and technique selection to produce quality diagnostic radiographs.</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare room, equipment, and materials for patient examinations.</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervise daily clinical performance and training of radiological students and new radiologic technologists.</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure the safety of patients by observing the equipment during procedures and report any unusual occurrences.</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Consult with reading radiologist or ordering provider regarding radiographic examinations.</p><p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Help log critical findings when appropriate.</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You will perform other duties as may be assigned.</p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High School diploma or equivalent</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Completion of an ARRT approved Radiologic program within six months of employment.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Obtain ARRT certification in radiologic technology within six months post completion of an approved radiology program.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Basic knowledge of radiology procedures</p>",
