The New Store and Renovations Manager plays a key role within the Operations organization by providing on-site project management for new store and renovations projects.  The ideal candidate will possess a high level of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position reports to the Director of New Stores and Renovations and works closely with construction, merchandising and field leadership as a project manager on a daily basis. This position requires nearly 100% travel - you will be on-site supporting new store openings across the United States.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>On site project management of remodels, renovations, and ground up new store builds.</li>\n <li>Manage the store set up process for new, relocated, and expanded stores. </li>\n <li>Travel extensively to new store and renovation locations. </li>\n <li>Effectively manage a team of New Store Specialists.  </li>\n <li>Ensure The Fresh Market quality and standards are met by monitoring store construction progress, evaluating quality, and taking necessary action to keep projects on track.</li>\n <li>Visit store project sites to confirm progress and schedule store construction effectively. </li>\n <li>Communicate with business partners regarding timeliness of turnover and openings of upcoming store projects. </li>\n <li>Ensure all appropriate parties are kept up to date with the status of projects at all times. </li>\n <li>Schedule, develop and manage weekly calls on project statuses and risks, while coordinating solutions and strategies to maintain project timeliness. </li>\n <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from remodels, new stores, and various assigned projects given by the Director of New Stores and Renovations.  </li>\n <li>Ensure completion of store punch list items and follow up on all warranty items in a timely manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail business or both.</li>\n <li>A history of coaching and training teams in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Understanding of store fixturing.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Able to understand and follow shelf sets and plan-o-grams.</li>\n <li>Ability to curate and visually merchandise stores. </li>\n <li>Understanding financial statements and drivers that influence the P&L.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills.</li>\n <li>High level of intellectual curiosity.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS: Consistent with applicable laws, TFM will make reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants and team members, unless doing so would result in an undue hardship to TFM.
